What is this device and what does it do?
The XPOLAR F1 MAX is a modular temperature-controlled compression recovery system. It consists of a main control unit and interchangeable attachments. The main unit supports cooling, heating, and compression functions, delivering precise cold/hot therapy and dynamic compression to the shoulders, legs (single or double), or the whole body (sleeping bag style). It helps relieve muscle soreness, accelerate recovery, and improve blood circulation. Ideal for athletes, fitness enthusiasts, office workers with prolonged sitting, and people in rehabilitation.
How do the main unit and attachments connect? Is it easy to switch?
It uses a quick-lock interface design. You can switch attachments in just 5 seconds. The main unit has a single primary port, and attachments are automatically recognized with matching modes. This truly enables “one unit for multiple uses,” so you don’t need to buy multiple separate devices.
How do the cooling, heating, and compression systems work?
The main unit features a liquid-based temperature control module and an air pump system. Cooling can reach as low as 32°F(0°C), heating up to 122°F (50°C) (upper limit adjustable), and compression intensity is adjustable from 0-320 mmHg. It supports multiple waveform patterns. The system maintains intelligent temperature control throughout, ensuring safety and stability.
Who is this device suitable for? Can ordinary people use it?
It is suitable for a wide range of users: athletes for post-training recovery, office workers to relieve shoulder, neck, and leg discomfort, and as rehabilitation support. Anyone aged 18-65 without serious cardiovascular conditions can use it (please read the user manual before use).
How long should I use it each session? Are there any side effects?
We recommend sessions of 15-30 minutes, 1-2 times per day. The XPOLAR F1 MAX has passed CE, FCC, and RoHS certifications and includes multiple safety protections. There are no side effects under normal use. A few users may experience slight skin redness on first use, which is a normal physiological reaction and disappears quickly.
Does the main unit have a battery? How is it powered?
The main unit does not contain a battery and uses a plug-in design. It must be connected to a power source to operate. It supports extended use while plugged in, making it ideal for office work, rehabilitation sessions, or relaxation.
Can I buy it now? When will the Kickstarter campaign start?
